We like to welcome Ashley Clark to the new ShadoCon Guest line-up! ASHLEY CLARK (Anna May Belle) is a multi-media artist and writer, and has been working in the anime style for nearly a decade. Her first webcomic, ‘Shades of Red’, debuted in 2003. She has since turned her attention to her newest literary project, ‘Tales of Asajima’. You can enter the world of Asajima through the webnovel ‘Nowaki’, and continue your journey with the first of her print novels, ‘The Yukari’.

She has appeared in many magazines, newspapers and tv such as Nintendo Power, Animerica, Anime Insider, Pokemon Fan, Beckett Pokemon Collector, Pokemon World UK,Nintendo UK,VW Trends,VW World, EGM, Star Banner, Riverland News, St. Augustine Record, Cartoon Network and is featured in a book published worldwide called, Cosplay in America.

We would like to welcome Random Encounter to the ShadoCon line-up this yeah. Random Encounter is a collective of individuals dedicated to adapting video game (and anime) music to a live setting. Because most of the songs they cover are considered background music a lot of work has to go into adaptation so that the songs can endure a live rock performance while at the same time staying true to the original melodies and intent.

We would like to welcome Kara Edwards as our very special guest at ShadoCon 2010! Kara started working for FUNimation Studios as a freelance voice actress. Her first role was as Lime in the Dragon Ball Z episode “A Girl Named Lime”. FUNimation voice director Chris Sabat was impressed enough by Kara’s work that he hired her to voice the characters of Kid Goten, Kid Uub, Videl and Gotenks for the remaining episodes of the series.

As promised, ShadoCon registration is online. You can go into the system and purchase tickets, create panels, and sign up for volunteer hours. Click Here to Register! I’ll now be working on getting the contest up and online. It shouldn’t take long, so stay tuned.

I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday season. Now it’s back to work. We will have the registration system up by the 16th. So on January 16th you will be able to buy tickets, create panels, and/or sign up to be a volunteer. Soon after we will be posting the Vendors and Artist information too. 2010 is going to be a great year, I can just feel it!
